As October comes to an end, we’re full of anticipation for the Halloween weekend as well as the start of November. It’s astonishing to think that we’ve been running for nearly ten months already. It’s one of the truest cliche’s around but time really does fly when you’re doing the things you love, and for us, being able to review some of the best new music around has been an absolute pleasure. Closing October in style this week is the brilliant Selena Gomez, who teams up with superstar DJ Marshmello on latest single Wolves whilst the stunning Plan B brings out Heartbeat.

The Release Radar 20/10/17: MGMT, Taylor Swift, Stereophonics and many more

With just over two months left of 2017, it’s startling to look back at some of the trends of the year. Huge comebacks, great breakout stars and sensational festivals are just a few things that the year will be remembered for. One thing that pop fans will surely not forget is the changing dynamic of Taylor Swift, whose switch to a rougher and darker style of pop has given her a new image. Swift returns again this week with yet another single, this time called Gorgeous whilst indie giants MGMT release their first single in four years called Little Dark Age.

The Music Radar UK’s Tracks of the Week

This week we are graced with a host of world dominating artists alongside some up and coming stars. Getting the chance to put rising artists alongside the big names is a wonderful opportunity. Whilst the industry’s big players have already had a host of big hits and thankfully are continuing to produce brilliant tracks, it’s refreshing to see some of music’s newer names rival them with the quality of new singles being produced each week. The Music Radar UK’s Tracks of the Week

One of the most eventful months for music fans, we’ve seen the likes of HAIM, Declan McKenna and Lana Del Rey all release new records plus the likes of Latitude, NOS Alive, Mad Cool, Bilbao BBK, Lollapalooza Paris and many more festivals stun festival goers with the diversity and strength of artists and sets. This week sees the incredible Arcade Fire releases their fifth record Everything Now, which is a cosmic blend of indie, disco and many more elements. The Release Radar 28/07/17: Arcade Fire, The Killers, Jessie Ware and more

There’s a consistent sense of wonder each year around this time at the end of July which is a wonder of how quickly the year is going. As we move further into the second half of 2017, we can truly say that we can’t wait for what is to come. To say that we have had some incredible music releases already is merely an understatement and the next few months promise massive releases from some of the world’s biggest artists. This week sees music’s most loved alternative band Arcade Fire return with their fifth studio album Everything Now whilst leading the singles releases are The Killers who release Run For Cover.
