As you might have guessed, it’s been a pretty manic past couple of months here at The Music Radar UK. Wave after wave of new tracks, albums and festivals have caused a backlog for us but nevertheless as always we promise to keep you up to date with the best that the music industry has to offer. Here are our Tracks of the Week with in depth reviews.
Set near the idyllic location of Spain’s northern mountains, Bilbao BBK has, over the past five years, become a force to watch out for within the European festival scene. Mixing some of music’s biggest artists with rising stars and local heroes, the Spanish festival has produced one of its biggest ever line ups for 2017. With The Killers announced as a headliner, it was a no brainer that we, at The Music Radar UK, decided to get on a plane and see what all the hype was about.
It’s been just over a week since the emphatic 2017 Glastonbury Festival and The Music Radar UK is proud to present the extensive coverage of what happened across the five days at Somerset’s iconic Worthy Farm site.
As we approach the summer, it seems as if celebrations are in order. The exam season is coming to an end for students, Glastonbury is just around the corner and a host of artists have just released new music for everyone to enjoy. Leading this week’s stunning collection of tracks are The Killers, who return for the first time since 2012 with The Man. Arcade Fire continue their preparation ahead of the release of upcoming album Everything Now, with the release of Creature Comfort.
As the summer breaks through, there’s a noticeable shift in the type of music releases that we get each week. Dance anthems seem to dominate the major releases whilst the biggest stars start to release new albums. This week sees French superstar DJ David Guetta team up with Justin Bieber for a legendary colaboration 2U. Royal Blood continue their preparation ahead of their pending album release with the releases of latest track I Only Lie When I Love You.
The more 2017 progresses, the more we think how fortunate we are to have escaped 2016. Week by week we have been given stunning selections of new music and this week is no different. With an eclectic list of established artists and rising stars, all having released new tracks this week, there is something for everyone to listen to.
