As you might have guessed, it’s been a pretty manic past couple of months here at The Music Radar UK. Wave after wave of new tracks, albums and festivals have caused a backlog for us but nevertheless as always we promise to keep you up to date with the best that the music industry has to offer. Here are our Tracks of the Week with in depth reviews.
Each week we lie in hope that something special is going to come from just around the corner. Over the past month it has seemed as if something special has come every week in the form of sensational new tracks, beautifully refined albums and surprising comebacks and thankfully this week is no different. Leading the way this week is Lana Del Rey, who teams up with the huge rapper A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carter for latest track Summer Bummer, the fourth track to be released from the upcoming Lust For Life record.
As the first week of July comes to an end, it’s safe to say that the summer has truly started. We’ve already had a sensational Glastonbury plus whole list of further celebrations and this week’s new music continues to celebrate the best that music has to offer. What better to celebrate than with the rightful return of Kesha, an artist who has been through such a hard time over the last few years. She releases track Praying whilst superstar DJ Zedd teams up with former One Direction member Liam Payne for Get Low.
Set near the idyllic location of Spain’s northern mountains, Bilbao BBK has, over the past five years, become a force to watch out for within the European festival scene. Mixing some of music’s biggest artists with rising stars and local heroes, the Spanish festival has produced one of its biggest ever line ups for 2017. With The Killers announced as a headliner, it was a no brainer that we, at The Music Radar UK, decided to get on a plane and see what all the hype was about.
It’s been just over a week since the emphatic 2017 Glastonbury Festival and The Music Radar UK is proud to present the extensive coverage of what happened across the five days at Somerset’s iconic Worthy Farm site.
