2017 is certainly becoming a year to remember for the music industry. Sensational tracks mixed with startling comebacks and rising stars have really shown everyone the diversity and talent that remain’s around the world. This week’s list of brilliant new music is led by former TV star and now global icon Miley Cyrus who returns for the first time since 2015 with new track Malibu.
Imagine Dragons continue their steady ascent with Whatever It Takes, the third track from upcoming album EVOLVE, whilst Chase and Status comeback with This Moment, a surprising collaboration with Stockport indie sensations Blossoms.
This week sees the return of the Matt Berninger fronted band The National, who release The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness. Linkin Park continue their preparation ahead of next week’s seventh album release, with new track Invisible whilst Reading indie risers Sundara Karma release Explore.
HAIM finally release the studio version of Right Now, a track which they posted the live version of to signal their return. blink-182 release Wildfire whilst Mount Kimbie release Marilyn, a collaboration with Micachu.
Calvin Harris continues his return with the release of Rollin which features Future and Khalid. The rise of Bryson Tiller continues with track Somethin Tells Me whilst Machine Gun Kelly collaborates with James Arthur on Go For Broke.
Fleet Foxes release another new track after their comeback in Fool’s Errand and Nick Murphy teams up with KAYTRANDA on Your Time. Rejje Snow releases a huge collaboration between himself, Joey Bada$$ and Jesse Boykins III called PURPLE TUESDAY.
Sampa The Great returns with track Paved With Gold which features Estelle who in turn returns with a new track called Woman’s World. Everything Is Recorded teams up with Sampha on Close But Not Quite.
Lady Antebellum release Heart Break whilst rapper Lupe Fiasco releases Coulda Been and rising rap duo Banks & Steelz release Who Needs the World.
Future star Nadia Rose releases Wat Up whilst upcoming singer songwriter Matt Maltese releases No One Won The War. Mabel’s consistent rise continues with new track Bedroom.
Harry Styles’ highly anticipated self-titled debut record leads this week’s album releases. The Hayley Williams fronted Paramore release After Laughter whilst upcoming rapper J Hus releases Common Sense. The gender fluid duo of PWR BTTM release Pageant.
