No one could ever have predicted the quality of new music that we received last week but luckily are able to keep this staggering run of excellent releases going this week with another star studded releases schedule. Leading the way this week are LCD Soundsystem who return for the first time since 2014. The James Murphy led indie icons release two tracks in call the police and american dream. It’s also a huge week for One Direction fans as both Harry Styles and Niall Horan release new tracks.
Styles releases the folk tinged acoustic track Sweet Creature whilst Horan releases Slow Hands. The wonderful HAIM release their second track in consecutive weeks with the release of Want You Back.
Alternative pop star Halsey releases Eyes Closed whilst Nothing But Thieves make a return for the first time since 2015’s self titled debut album with track Amsterdam. Paramore release their second track of the year in Told You So whilst South African duo Die Antwoord comeback with Love Drug.
Former Noah and the Whale frontman Charlie Fink releases I Was Born To Be A Cowboy and TLC release Haters. Galantis release Hunter and Jonas Blue releases Mama, a collaboration with William Singe.
Lil Yauchty continues his steady rise with the release of Bring It Back whilst J Hus brings out track Common Sense. Ten Tonnes release Born To Lose and Grizzly Bear make a comeback with Three Rings. PVRIS bring out Heaven and the Sean Ryder led Black Grape return with Everything You Know Is Wrong.
Leicester rock titans Kasabian lead this week’s album releases with their sixth studio album For Crying Out Loud. Indie slacker Mac DeMarco releases This Old Dog whilst the effortlessly stunning Icelandic singer songwriter Ásgeir releases Afterglow. The legendary Debbie Harry fronted Blondie release new album Pollinator whilst Perfume Genius releases No Shape. Upcoming artist Day Wave release album The Days We Had. The mysterious A Blaze of Feather, who were revealed to be the latest project between artist Mickey Smith and Ben Howard release debut EP 1. Lethal Bizzle releases the anticipated You’ll Never Make a Million from Grime EP.
