The Release Radar: 31/03/17

2017 has already seen an amazing range of stunning releases and as we approach the end of the first quarter of the year, the standard is no different. Leading today’s releases is Calvin Harris who teams up with worldwide stars Ariana Grande, Pharrell Williams and Young Thug for track Heatstroke.

Leicester rock gods Kasabian release Comeback Kid, the second track from soon to be released album For Crying Out Loud. Kendrick Lamar continues his search for total rap dominance with track HUMBLE. and alt-j release their second track, In Cold Blood, from their upcoming third album Relaxer.

The Chainsmokers continue their quest for world glory with new track The One whilst alternative pop duo Oh Wonder make a return with Ultralife, their first track since 2015. Also making a return after a while away are The Kooks with track Be Who You Are being their first new release since 2014. The duo of Drake and Wizkid, who dominated 2016 with One Dance, team up again for track Come Closer whilst former The Voice UK contestant Becky Hill releases Rude Love.

Upcoming singer songwriter Will Joseph Cook releases Plastic whilst Irish singer songwriter Declan Kennedy releases Glory. Indie band Lisbon return with new song Tyler and Whitney release You’ve Got a Woman. G-Eazy releases Gimme Gimme, which features Carnage whilst San Cisco make a return with Hey, Did I Do You Wrong?

Album releases this week come from the Jay Kay fronted funk band Jamiroquai with Automaton. Goldfrapp releases Silver Eye whilst British Sea Power release Let The Dancers Inherit The Party.
