Lollapalooza 2017: Incredible line up announced

Muse, The Killers, Chance The Rapper and Arcade Fire top the Chicago leg of the festival chain.

Following announcements from the South American, Paris and Berlin stages of Lollapalooza 2017, organisers of the Chicago leg of the series confirmed their 2017 line up which will see Devon born trio Muse, Brandon Flowers fronted rock band The Killers, US rap sensation Chance The Rapper and Toronto based alternative band Arcade Fire headline the event.

The organisers of the 2017 festival, which takes place in Grant Park, Chicago across 3-6 August have also announced the day splits which sees a huge range of brilliant artists across the four days.

Thursday 3rd August, which sees Muse top the main stage, will also see New Zealand star Lorde, rock band Cage The Elephant and rapper Wiz Khalifa play. Liam Gallagher, Spoon, George Ezra, Migos, KAYTRANDA, Hippo Campus, Temples, Honne and Declan McKenna are also on the line up.

Friday 4th August, will be headlined by The Killers and will also see performances from blink-182, DJ Snake, Run The Jewels, Foster The People, Ryan Adams and The Pretty Reckless.

Chance The Rapper tops the bill on 5th August whilst The xx, alt-j, Glass Animals, Mac DeMarco and Royal Blood lead the undercard. Zara Larsson, The Japanese House, Alvvays and Blossoms will also be playing big sets at the festival.

The final day, topped by Arcade Fire, will see Justice, Big Sean, Rae Sremmurd, Milky Chance, Tove Lo and London Grammar take to the stage. Also on the Sunday are some huge upcoming artists like Rag’n’Bone Man, Charli XCX, Sampha, Maggie Rogers, Barns Courtney, VANT and Blaenavon.

The announcement sees the Chicago festival propelled to the forefront of the 2017 festival calendar with a stellar line up.
