New Music Friday in Brief 17/03/17: Kasabian, Clean Bandit, Frank Ocean and more

Friday is finally here and it can only mean one thing – new music. This week has a huge range of releases topped by the return of Kasabian with track You’re In Love With A Psycho, their first release since 2014. The gradual return of Clean Bandit continues with another superstar collaboration in track Symphony which guest stars pop sensation Zara Larsson.

R&B star Frank Ocean releases a new track in Chanel whilst the legendary Rivers Cuomo led rock band Weezer return with Feels Like Summer. There are some more big rock releases this week with Linkin Park releasing their second track of the year in Battle Symphony. Drones Club release Hurricane and British Sea Power release Electrical Kittens.


This week sees the return of the ever interesting Pitbull who teams up with Leona Lewis on Only Ones To Know. The brilliant Asgeir releases Sawdust whilst G-Eazy teams up with Kehlani on Good Life. Cold War Kids also release a new track with So Tied Up.

Other noteworthy releases come from Zhu who releases Nightcrawler and Soulwax who release Do You Want To Get Into Trouble? Feist also return with their latest track Pleasure whilst Mura Masa teams up with growing star Charli XCX on 1 Night.


There are some big album releases as well this week led by the highly anticipated pop debut of Zara Larsson with So Good. Depeche Mode return with a new album in Spirit. Spoon’s comeback album Hot Thoughts is also available now whilst Australian duo Milky Chance release their second album Blossom. Legendary rapper Rick Ross releases Rather You Than Me and Frances releases Thing’s I’ve Never Said.
