New Music Friday in Brief 10/03/17: Lorde, alt-j, Fleet Foxes and more

Who can believe we are already in March?! We have already had an incredible first two months of music and today sees the increased return of the brilliant Lorde with her stunning, vulnerable new single Liability.

Alternative band alt-j return with 3WW, the first single from their upcoming third album. Recently announced V Festival headliner P!nk releases Waterfall, a collaboration with Starship and Sia whilst the wonderful Fleet Foxes make their comeback with the lengthy Third of May / Odaigahara.

The brilliant Father John Misty releases Total Entertainment Forever, whilst US rapper Nicki Minaj releases Regret In Your Tears as well as the Lil Wayne featuring Changed It. Former X Factor winner Louisa Johnson returns with new track Best Behaviour.

Singer Songwriters Tom Grennan, Isaac Gracie and Will Joseph Cook all have new releases as well today with tracks Giving It All, Reverie and Biggest Fan respectively. Upcoming R&B singer Jorja Smith releases Beautiful Little Fools whilst James Blunt continues his return to music with new track Bartender.

There are also new releases from The Shins with Fantasy Island, rock band Mallory Knox with California and gnash with i could change ur life.

Album releases this week come from the brilliant UK indie rock band Circa Waves, with second album Different Creatures. Laura Marling releases Semper Femina whilst there are EP releases from Charli XCX with Number 1 Angel and Tom Grennan with Release the Brakes.
