The 2017 edition will be headlined by U2, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Weeknd alongside a stellar list of artists.
The heavyweight festival is the latest amongst a string of big US festivals to announce their line up over the last week. In the last 24 hours, Bonnaroo announced that Irish Rock legends U2 will headline alongside Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Weeknd. This is the first festival announcement for U2 in 2017 having recently announced their The Joshua Tree 2017 tour in North America and Europe. The Weeknd will bring new album Starboy to the festival whilst Red Hot Chilli Peppers continue on the road with a stop at the Tennessee festival.
The line up also sees big slots for Chance The Rapper, Major Lazer and Flume, alongside the return of The xx and another US festival date for Lorde. Royal Blood will also be playing the festival, their second US date announce for 2017. Cage The Elephant, Glass Animals, Future Islands, Tove Lo and Michael Kiwanuka will all have highly anticipated sets following great live reviews and new albums.
